ABOUT ann
Born in Taipei, Taiwan and raised in the SF Bay Area, California, Ann’s love for working with her hands from a young age evolved into a flourishing career in fashion design. Her upbeat, energetic yet easy vibe and personal style mirrored the designs that landed her roles at iconic American brands from Levi’s to Ariat. As an accomplished apparel and denim designer, at Ariat she discovered her love for footwear design and began designing top-selling lifestyle footwear.
Ann later joined forces with The Shoe Surgeon in Los Angeles and helped to provide creative direction on special projects and shoemaking instruction at workshops. Today, she leads Studio Duskus and continues to find joy through client partnerships by crafting whimsical yet sophisticated narratives and telling premium brand stories. When she’s not working on bespoke projects, teaching workshops or masterclasses, you can find Ann building knowledge and friendships at various industry events.
